Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) also known as ‘tapping’ is a psychological acupressure technique used to optimise emotional health. Although often overlooked, emotional health is absolutely essential to our physical health and well being, no matter how healthy your lifestyle – you will not achieve optimum health if emotional barriers stand in your way.
EFT is a form of acupressure based on the same meridians used in traditional acupuncture to treat physical and emotional ailments for over five thousand years; the beauty of ‘tapping’ is – there are no invasive needles! Tapping is simply using your fingertips to input kinetic energy onto specific meridians on the head, chest and hand whilst you think about your specific problem and using voice positive affirmations.
The process of ‘tapping’ whilst voicing positive affirmations works to clear the ‘short circuit’ or emotional block from the body’s bio energy system, restoring mind and body balance – essential for optimum health and healing of physical issues.
