will help you to re-think the thought patterns related to pain

Pain is something we all experience from time to time, sometimes without warning, sometimes affecting our physical movements, the way we think and the way we behave.  Pain that affects our quality of life is debilitating, exhausting, can result in low mood or depression and affect our relationships.

Clinical Hypnotherapy will help you to address stress and anxiety which are common side effects of pain, it will help you to re-think the thought patterns related to pain, and under hypnosis Angie can install suggestions to the sub-conscious mind to encourage pain relief – turning down the level of pain to a more manageable level.  People experiencing long term chronic pain usually require between 4 to 10 sessions of hypnotherapy, in addition Angie will give you post-hypnotic suggestions allowing you to self-hypnotise in between sessions and whenever required.

I have achieved a Diploma in Holistic Pain Management and will combine this with Clinical Hypnotherapy methods including an explanation of exactly what pain is and how the brain processes messages from the body.  I can discuss the benefits of alternative pain relief such as aromatherapy, yoga, mindfulness, EFT, pain relieving foods, herbs etc.
